FAQ

How does the timing work?
This year overall awards will be based on gun time and all other awards will be based on chip time.

Is there a Bag Check?

Unfortunately, due to liability and safety reasons, we cannot be responsible for checking bags at the event. We encourage leaving bags in your vehicle.

How is Parking?

There is plenty of parking, we have accommodated more than 5,000 runners in the past at our Thanksgiving race at the same venue. There are two parking garages, the main one being in the northeast corner of Cambier Park.

Can a friend pick up my packet?

Of course! just make sure they know your bib number (will be sent a few days before race) or last name – we will have names printed on bibs for confirmation!

Can I Run with a stroller/pet?

Sorry, strollers/pets are not allowed due to safety concerns.

How do I know where to line up? Will there be pace markers?

We will have signs on the sides of the street at the start line as well as dedicated pacers (the exact paces will be announced closer to the race date and will be detailed at packet pick up)

Is there a pre-race pasta party or shakeout run this year?

Sorry, there is no longer a pasta party the night before the race. There will be a shakeout run the Saturday before the Race at the Baker Park Performance Stage.

How does the timing work (gun vs chip time)

Results (except the overall top finishers) will be recorded using your “chip time.”  This includes masters groups as well as our age group awards.
